Bark-tober fest

The Humane Society Serving Crawford County is holding its second annual Bark-Tober Fest on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017.

Bark-Tober Fest will take place from 2 - 5 p.m. at the Humane Society Serving Crawford County, 3590 State Route 98, Bucyrus. Admission is $5 per car load. The fall event will feature games, activities, food, a 50/50 raffle, and a dog and kid costume competition.

Games will include Monster Toss, Witch Pitch, Poke-A-Pumpkin, Candy Corn Bingo, and Cake Walk. Activities include face painting, pumpkin painting, petting zoo, and pinatas. All games and activities will require tickets.

The Dog and Kid Costume Competition comes with a $5 entry fee with three different categories: Cutest, Scariest, and Most Original. There will be one prize winner per category.

Family photos will feature a fall background with photo packages available. Families attending Bark-Tober Fest will also be able to enjoy chili, donuts, and hot apple cider.
